ORFH Policy Work

ORFH is active in representing the interests of rural sponsors at the federal and state level. ORFH’s Executive Director, Marty Miller, serves as the President of the National Farmworker Director’s Association, is on the Board of the National Rural Housing Coalition, serving on their Farmworker Housing Committee. Marty also serves on the Board of the Washington State Farmworker Housing Trust and the Washington Low-Income Housing Alliance.

ORFH also participates directly in the State of Washington’s Affordable Housing Advisory Board, Subcommittee on Farmworker Housing in addition to the Policy Advisory Team of the Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development.
